<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable manufacturing method of an organic EL display by suppressing occurring of a short circuit to the gap between two electrodes which sandwich the element, in the organic EL element in which a sealing layer is formed on the electrode of a light-emitting side. <P>SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the organic EL display in which the sealing layer for shielding the element from the open air is formed in the light-emitting side of the organic EL element, before forming the sealing layer, an aging process of electric-field aging, heating aging, or both agings are performed in the environment where a damage is not given to the element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
