PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous use of incorrect combination of a straight tube lamp and a socket with an entire length of a luminaire body not changed according to a rated lamp power. SOLUTION: There are provided a straight tube lamp 1 comprising bases 2 on both ends, a pair of sockets 10 and 10' comprising a receiving metal 13 which engages with the base 2 in an axial direction of the straight tube lamp 1, and a luminaire body 20 which holds both sockets 10 and 10'. The base 2 of the straight tube lamp 1 is provided with a pair of protruding parts 5, and a receiving metal 13 is provided with a pair of recessed parts 13c which engage with the protruding parts 5. So, only a correct base 2 of the straight tube lamp 1 engages with a correct receiving metal 13 of the sockets 10 and 10'. Thus, erroneous use of incorrect combination of a straight tube lamp and a socket is prevented, with no change of the entire length of the luminaire body 20 according to rated lamp power.
