ERRONEOUS TRANSMISSION PREVENTION APPARATUS, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erroneous transmission of a dial pulse (DP) signal which is automatically transmitted from a personal computer (PC) with built-in software modem. SOLUTION: A DP recognizing part 11 receives the DP signal transmitted from a PC 21 and sends the DP signal to a call originating number display part 12. A DP display part 12 displays a telephone number indicated by the DP signal. A caller 20 decides whether or not the displayed telephone number is matched with any telephone number registered in the PC 21. When the telephone number is not matched and the caller 20 presses a cutoff button in a DP transmission deciding part 13, a DP cutoff part 15 is notified of a signal cutoff and communications with the PC 21 are cut off. Besides, when the displayed telephone number is matched with any one of registered telephone numbers and the caller 20 presses a calling button in the DP transmission deciding part 13, a DP transmission part 14 is notified of the DP signal transmission and based upon the notice, a PB transmission part 14 connects a line, sends the DP of the relevant DP signal to a communication line 13 and makes the DP incoming to an ISP 31.
