PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet curable composition which excels in curabili ty, coating film adhesion, adhesion with time, and solvent resistance, does not release aldehydes such as acetaldehyde and propionaldehyde, remarkably reduces odors to cope with the environment. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet curable composition comprises a photocationically polymerizable compound, a compound having at least one 4-methylene-1,3-dioxolane group in the molecule, and a photocationic polymerization initiator and preferably, the photocationically polymerizable compound is a compound having at least one epoxy group in the molecule.
