PURPOSE: A buckling analysis method in a roll forming process using a finite element method is provided to predict a buckling phenomenon generated from the roll forming process by executing a simulation using a computer program. CONSTITUTION: A data input process is performed to input data related to a shape of material, a boundary condition, and a repetition number into an input unit(S100). Longitudinal strain of the material is converted to residual stress(S106). The shape of the material is determined(S108). The boundary condition of the material is applied according to the shape of the material(S110). A defect function for generating the buckling is applied to the material(S116). The buckling of the material is analyzed by using a strain over-dissolution prevention algorithm(S118-S122).
