PURPOSE: A driving device of a water gate is provided to prevent a waterway from opening by load of a water gate or water pressure at a leak of hydraulic oil. CONSTITUTION: The driving device(60) of a water gate contains: a pair of fixed links(61) fixed to the center of a fixed shaft(52); brackets(62) fixed to both backsides of a water gate; a hinge shaft(63) supported to the bracket(62) to make both ends parallel to the fixed shaft(52); a hydraulic cylinder(64) connected to the front of the hinge shaft(63) and a fixed link(61) to be rotatable; a support arm(71) whose upper end is fixed to the hinge shaft(63) and lower end is provided with a projected pin(71a) to be parallel with the fixed shaft(52); a support block(72) provided with a support groove(72a) to support the projected pin(71a); a rotary cylinder(73) rotating the support block(72) to make the support groove(72a) located under the projected pin(71a) if a waterway is closed and rotating the support block(72) to make the support groove(72a) located on the projected pin(71a) if a waterway is opened; a hanger(74) fixed to the fixed shaft(52) at the state of supporting the rotary cylinder(73); and a control unit(75) controlling the rotary cylinder(73).
