PURPOSE: A cargo box for a luggage van is provided to fix luggage easily with small number of workers in loading cargo by elevating an elevating panel as an upper portion of a side gate with a hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A cargo box for a luggage van comprises a fixed panel(210), an elevating device(220), an elevating panel(230) and a switch. The fixed panel is formed longitudinally. The elevating device is composed of a piston(221) and a cylinder(222) and installed to both ends of inner front and rear portions of the fixed panel. Therein, the elevating device elevates the piston vertically from the cylinder fixed to a lower side. The elevating panel is arranged to an upper side of the fixed panel and combined to an upper end of the piston of the elevating device in both ends of inner front and rear portions. Rings(231) are equipped to the outside of the elevating panel. The switch controls elevation of the elevating device. Therefore, cargo is loaded easily by elevating the elevating panel with a hydraulic cylinder.
