PURPOSE: A shift operation mechanism of a transmission is provided to reduce noise and vibration caused by colliding a control shaft with a control housing with viscous oil. CONSTITUTION: A shift operation mechanism of a transmission is composed of a gearshift lever(52) moved back and forth, and left and right by a driver, a control shaft(54) connected to a lower end of the gearshift lever to transmit operation power to the inside of the transmission, a control housing(56) fixed to the transmission to protect the control shaft, and a control plate(58) fixed to the upside of the control housing to support the gearshift lever in a bolt-joint method and cover the upside of a connected portion of the control shaft and a lower end of the gearshift lever. Oil(70) is filled in the control housing to reduce noise and vibration generated by the control shaft and the control housing.
