PURPOSE: A gold ashes box is provided to store ashes for a long time and to prevent ashes of a dead body from being rotten by coating an outer portion of an ashes box with gold. CONSTITUTION: A gold ashes box includes a body section and a lid section having a lotus blossom shape. The body section and the lid section of the gold ashes box are plated with gold in such a manner that ashes of a dead body are prevented from being rotten. That is, an inner surface and an outer surface of the gold ashes box are plated with gold. A handle section having a bud shape is attached to the body of the gold ashes box. The lid section includes an inner lid section and an outer lid section. The handle section is integrally formed with the inner lid section.
