<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply management apparatus capable of automatically preventing sudden shutdown of power supply to active electronic/electrical equipment, and to provide a system having a power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with; a power measuring means (a power measuring part 2a) for measuring consumption of power supplied to each equipment from a power source; and a notification means (a memory 2b, control unit 2c, transmission part 3) for transmitting a signal to inform the fact to each equipment receiving power from the power supply, when reaching a predetermined power consumption that is set up for the upper limit, while the measured power consumption is less than the upper limit of power that the power source can supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
