<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive color composition which has high sensitivity, high transmittance and wide development latitude, which can be cured in a short time by post-baking at a low temperature, which produces an image with high resolution, which shows high productivity without causing elution or thermal deterioration of a dye, and to provide a color filter by using the composition. <P>SOLUTION: In the photosensitive color composition containing a binder resin, a quinone diazide compound and a dye, the binder resin comprises a polymer having an alcoholic hydroxyl group and an acidic group.
