PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape having proper winding/fastening property for press- winding an electric cable, and an electric wire having proper appearance and high quality. SOLUTION: The tape is disposed between the electric cable and a sheath covering the cable, and press-wound on the cable, where the tape is composed of a polytrimethylene terephthalate long-fiber nonwoven fabric.
