<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which both of maintenance for the crystal grain diameter of magnet powder and miniaturization for a magnet are obtained, related to a method for manufacturing a bulk magnet containing rare earth with the magnet powder containing a rare earth element as a raw material. <P>SOLUTION: The magnet powder containing the rare earth element is formed in a magnetic field. Then it is pressure-sintered in this manufacturing method for the bulk magnet containing rare earth. It is desired that a condition for pressure-sintering is so controlled that, provided that a sintering temperature is x(°C) and a pressurizing force is y (tonf/cm<SP>2</SP>), 3.1≤y≤6.0 when 500≤x<650, -0.02x+16.1≤y≤-0.02x+19 when 650≤x≤800, or 0.1≤y≤3.0 when 800<x≤900. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
