<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming apparatus capable of improving the quality of an image formed on transfer material. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus provided with an image carrier 3 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed by an exposure device, a developing device 7 forming a toner image by developing the electrostatic latent image of the image carrier 3, a carrying device 17 carrying the transfer material 11, and a transfer roller 4 transferring the toner image to the transfer material 11 from the image carrier 3, a detection signal from a sensor 51 for detecting the color reflection density or the black-and-white reflection density of the transfer material 11 before transferring the toner image is transmitted to an exposure controller 2 which changes an exposure condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
