PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method for precisely grasping lowering in the concentration of a contaminant. SOLUTION: In the measuring method for the concentration of the contaminant, soil treated with a microorganism is used as a sample 1 as shown in Fig. (a), and the sample is put inside a container 3. As shown in Fig. (b), acid water or alkaline water is put into the container 3, and a mixed solution 5 is prepared together with the sample 1. The opening of the container 3 is plugged up by using a stopper body 6, the container 3 is shaken in this state as shown in Fig. (c), and the mixed solution 5 inside the container is stirred. After it has been set left standing for a prescribed time, the concentration of trichlorethylene 7, volatilized and diffused to an air space inside the container 3 as shown in Fig. (d), is analyzed by using a portable type gas chromatograph.
