PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing propylene oxide and propyl alcohol that can epoxipize propylene to propylene oxide without co-production of styrene such as cumene is repeatedly used as an oxygen carrier and can produce cumene dimer, in addition. SOLUTION: The process comprises the following steps. The oxidation step where cumene is oxidized to cumene hydroperoxide, the epoxidation step where the hydroperoxide is allowed to react with propylene in a liquid phase in the presence of a solid catalyst to form propylene oxide and cumyl alcohol, the hydrogenolysis step where cumyl alcohol is hydrogenolyzed to cumene, which is recycled to the oxidation step as a starting substance, and the cumene dimer separation step where the cumene dimer remaining in the cumene-including reaction mixture from the hydrogenolysis step is separated.
