PURPOSE: A door locking apparatus is provided to allow for automatic locking operation through the independent operation of the dead bolt and latch bolt. CONSTITUTION: A door locking apparatus comprises a housing(12) having a hole for insertion or protrusion of a dead bolt(16) and a latch bolt(18); a key assembly(20) operating by an internal rotation grip; a latch bolt operation member for operating the latch bolt by the key assembly, independently of the dead bolt; a dead bolt operation member for operating the dead bolt by the key assembly, independently of the latch bolt; and an automatic locking member for operating the dead bolt when the latch bolt is accommodated into the housing, fixing the position of the dead bolt by fixing the dead bolt operation member when the dead bolt is inserted into the housing by the latch bolt operation member, and permitting the dead bolt to protrude outward from the housing by releasing the fixed state of the dead bolt operation member when the latch bolt starts re-operation.
