摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To position a hologram element at a predetermined position on a cap with good reproducibility and accuracy to bond it fixedly when an integrated laser unit is manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: Gas flow passages 21 communicating with a divided chamber 22 are formed at the metallic wall 4a of a cap 4, and the gas flow passages 21 are made to communicate with a pressurized gas supply source and a vacuum generation apparatus via solenoid valves. In a position adjustment process of the hologram element, the divided chamber is supplied with a pressurized gas and is increased in the gas pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure, and the hologram element is thereby made to slightly lifted from the upper surface of the cap, and in this state, the position of the hologram element is precisely adjusted by a holding means on the basis of the output signal from a signal reading photoreceptor 3. Next, the gas in the divided chamber is exhausted by the vacuum generation apparatus and the gas pressure is made lower than the atmospheric pressure, and thereby the hologram element is provisionally fixed (vacuum adsorption).
