<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for ordering output in the form of printed matter such as a desired booklet by uploading and laying out contents from a cellphone or the like. <P>SOLUTION: This server system performs access from a user's personal digital assistant. The server system performs a layout template specification processing in which contents data transmitted by the user from the personal digital assistant are stored in a contents database and the layout template of the data constituting the printed matter is chosen; an edit instruction processing for editing the data such as contents data and character data inserted into the layout template; an output instruction processing for outputting the number, the paper quality and the size of the printed matter; a fee charging information processing for storing a specified layout template specifying data, an edit specifying data and an output specifying data in the contents database.
