<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and labor consumed for selecting a consignee company for commissioning examination of a semiconductor device. <P>SOLUTION: In this mediation method, a consignor company is urged to input requirements necessary for examination of the semiconductor device, and the inputted requirements are registered. From the data of a plurality of consignee companies carrying out examination of the semiconductor device, a consignee company is selected according to the requirements, and a list representing the selected consignee company and its conditions is presented to the consignor company.
