摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce shock loads added to access tunnel by pool water level rise, pool swelling in a suppression chamber. SOLUTION: In a reactor building, a lower drywell 6, an upper drywell 9 and a suppression chamber 7 are formed, and an access tunnel, connecting a reactor building 1 with the lower drywell 6, is arranged near a pool water level 8a of the suppression chamber 7. Below the access tunnel 10, a deflector 11 for protecting the access tunnel 10 from the shock of rising flow of pool water 8 at pool swelling, is arranged. The deflector 11 disturbs or disperses the rising flow of pool water or retards the rise speed, to reduce the shock energy to the access tunnel in the constitution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
