PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method and a device for recording the recording information capable of being exactly reproduced with respect to an information recording medium whereon the exactly reproducible pre- information is recorded along with the recording density of the recording information is improved. SOLUTION: The device is an information recorder for recording the recording information to a DVD-R1 whereon an information recording track is furnished and also the pre-information including the address information to show the position on the DVD-R1 is preliminarily recorded while having the interval corresponding to the length of a pre-information unit multiplying the length of the information unit in the recording information by 2 or larger integer, and this device is provided with a pickup 70 for detecting the pre-information from the DVD-R1, an encoder 78 for producing the recording information whereto a synchronizing signal is added for every information unit in accordance with the detected pre-information, and the pickup 70 for recording the produced recording information on the information recording track.
