PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newα-amino amide derivative, and to provide a method for readily producing a new optically activeα-amino ketone derivative and optically activeβ-amino alcohols having syn- and anti-configuration by using theα-amino ketone derivative as a precursor. SOLUTION: The method for producing the optically activeα-amino ketone derivative represented by general formula (1) [wherein, Ra, Rb and R1 are each a hydrogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group which may have a substituent, or the like; R2 is a 1-20C alkyl group which may have a substituent, or the like; and (*) represents an asymmetric atom] is obtained by reacting an organometallic compound with an optically activeα-amino amide derivative represented by general formula (2) [wherein, Ra, Rb, R1 and (*) represent the same meanings as the above; Rc and Rd are each a hydrogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group which may have a substituent, or the like; and n is an integer of 0-2].
