PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the viscosity of a mixture of a resin in a molten state and gases pressurized more than atmospheric pressure within a share rate range conceivable in normal injection molding and thus to provide viscosity data capable of simulating the flow pattern of the molten resin mixed with the gases. SOLUTION: A measuring device 6 comprises a channel 9 for making the molten resin mixed with the gases, extruded out of an injection machine 14 having a gas supply part at a midpoint in a heating tube, flow to a discharge opening 8, an orifice 10 interposed in the channel 9, and a pressure detector 11 for detecting the pressure of the molten metal mixed with the gases in the channel 9 on the upstream side from the orifice 10, and the measuring device 6 is connected to the injection machine 14. A valving element 12 is provided for either the upstream side or downstream side of the orifice 10 of the measuring device 6. By closihg the valving element 12, the molten resin mixed with the gases in a pressurized state is accumulated and stored in a measuring part of the injection machine 14 in the viscosity measuring apparatus.
