PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a control mechanism for the cycle of an absorption type hot water generator while enhancing the efficiency of recovering heat from a heat carrier fluid which retains waste heat. SOLUTION: This absorption type waste heat recovery facility is provided with a high temperature generator 1H which recovers heat from the heat carrier fluid directly introduced therein; a low temperature generator 1L where a solution concentrated by the high temperature regenerator is re-concentrated by steam coming from the high temperature regenerator 1H; an auxiliary regenerator 1S where heat is recovered as the heat carrier fluid is introduced therein after heat is recovered therefrom at the high temperature regenerator 1H; and an auxiliary heat recovery device 15 where heat is recovered as the heat carrier fluid H is introduced therein after heat is recovered at the auxiliary regenerator 1S. The steam S and the concentrated solution L1 in each cycle are thermally separated between a double effect cycle involving the high temperature regenerator 1H and the low temperature regenerator 1L and a single effect cycle having the auxiliary regenerator 1S. In the double effect cycle, after the diluted solution L2 from an absorber 4 has passed through a low- temperature heat exchanger 5L, it is circulated through an auxiliary heat recovery device 15 prior to entering a high-temperature heat exchanger 5H and is heated with the heat recovered from the heat carrier fluid H.
