PURPOSE: A vehicle robbery prevention system and method using a base station of a mobile communication terminal is provided to respond to the vehicle robbery, quickly. CONSTITUTION: A server computer(500) stores the information of a mobile communication terminal(400) for a user and his mobile communication terminal(300) for a vehicle at the database. The server computer(500) checks a base station(200) where the terminal for the vehicle is located at certain intervals. The server computer determines whether the terminal for the vehicle moves based on the information of the base station where the terminal for the vehicle is located. When it is determined the vehicle moves, it is checked that the information of the base station for a user terminal is different from that for the vehicle terminal. When the information of the base station for the user terminal is different from that for the vehicle terminal, the server computer sends the message of a vehicle robbery to the user terminal.
