PURPOSE: A recording method of an optical recorder is provided to compensate the recording power by time with an ROPC inclination value obtained by a reflection rate measured by reproducing RF signals of inner and outer peripheries of a disc. CONSTITUTION: A recording method of an optical recorder includes the steps of detecting reproducing RF signals from inner to outer peripheries of a disc, determining an inclination of reflection rate by using the reproduced RF signal values and an inclination of a running optimum recording power according to compensation power per time and reflection rates by using the inclination(S101), determining a beginning power after carrying out the optimum recording power(S102), and starting data recording with the ROPC inclination determined by using a real recording power as the beginning power in the case of real data recording(S103). At a power control time, a real recording power is determined by adding the beginning power with a compensation power(S105) and the recording is continued by the real recording power added with the compensation power(S106).
