<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair support method for performing clarification of causes of bad condition and/or recovery by support of a repair support center without limiting to specific one maker when the bad condition occurs in a computer of a user and/or its peripheral devices. <P>SOLUTION: The repair support method comprises a step 1 for registering detailed information on hardware of a user system beforehand in a recording device of a host computer of the repair support center along with identification data of the user, a step 2 for communicating to the repair support center using a communication means of the telephone, the Internet or the like when the user system goes down, a step 3 for calling the detailed information on the hardware of the user system from the recording device by the identification data of the user, and a step 4 for determining a support method after grasping accurate usage environment of the user system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
