<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless base station apparatus, a paging area identification method, and a paging area identification program capable of actively discriminating whether a PA (Paging Area) managed by a network side is different from a PA recognized by a PS (Personal Station). <P>SOLUTION: First as sown in arrows 7a, 7b, a PS makes position registration by using a tentative number not in existence as an actual PS number in a cell A1 and updates location information to a PA1. Then as shown in arrows 7c, 7d, a network receiving a call whose destination number is designated to the tentative PS number transmits the call to each base station in the PA1. Succeedingly, area data IPCH and a paging area number included in a paging channel PCH of each control signal in cells A2, A3, A4, B1, B2, are monitored in the cell A1 and it is reported to a center when any fault exists in the monitored data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
