<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly access a specified channel for reception. <P>SOLUTION: On-vehicle communication equipment includes: an RF band-pass filter 2 for attenuating a signal other than the one of a desired wave in the signals from an antenna 1; a mixer 4 for converting the desired wave amplified by an RF amplifier 3 into a low-pass frequency based on the output of a local oscillator 10; an IF band-pass filter 6 for selecting the desired wave from the mixer; a reception power strength monitor 7 for converting the desired wave into a voltage signal; an AD converter 8 for converting the voltage signal into a digital signal; a channel search map 11 for storing the channel information; a frequency synthesizer 5 for controlling the local oscillator; and a CPU 9 for setting the frequency of the frequency synthesizer based on the channel information which is stored in the channel search map, and specifying a reception channel based on the output of the AD converter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
