PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that manages the configuration of a centralized storage management system. SOLUTION: A management server is connected to a plurality of servers, one disk subsystem and a switch connected to the servers and disk subsystem. A first agent for managing the configuration of the server operates on each server, a second agent for managing the configuration of the disk subsystem operates on the disk subsystem, and a third agent for managing the configuration of the switch operates on the switch.
