PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen fixing device which can surely fix a screen for large-screen display to a main body section, looks well in appearance and design and can prevent the plastic screen from having static electricity, and an image display device. SOLUTION: The screen fixing device 30 for fixing the screen 14 for display images to the main boxy section has metallic fixtures 40 for fixing the screen 14 to the main boxy section and double coated adhesive tapes 50. The metallic fixtures 40 has first segments 60 which are bonded and fixed to the inside surface side of the screen 14 by using the tapes 50 and second segments 63 which are formed integrally with the first segments 60 and are mechanically fixed to the main boxy section.
