PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adaptor for an optical connector to which optical fibers are connected, that can minimize electromagnetic influence to the outside of the housing. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic wave is prevented from leaking through an opening 51 for installing an adaptor, by arranging an electrically conductive plate 40 inside the adaptor 1 for an optical connector. In addition, the electromagnetic wave from the adaptor installation part 51 is cut off by making a sleeve 10 material electrically conductive. Further, the interruptive performance against the electromagnetic wave is improved by using an electrically conductive material for a part of a ferrule 60 that holds optical fibers in the connector.
