PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive radiation detection apparatus having less sensitivity variations. SOLUTION: In the radiation detection apparatus, provided with at least a fluorescent material layer for converting radiation into a light and an optical detector comprising a plurality of photoelectric conversion element for converting the light into an electrical signal, the light emission ratio of the fluorescent material layer per unit volume is distributed in the surface of the fluorescent material layer.
