PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating lock capable of being easily and quickly locked and unlocked by the same operation as an ordinary lever handle operation without the need of any knob operation by eliminating a thumb-turn knob, and in which the burden on an aged person with the disabled hand or a physically weak child is lessened, at the same time, and capable of being easily unlocked even if the person forgets an unlocking operation or procedure and preventing a panic in a room. SOLUTION: Indicating sections 26 and 27 facing to an indicating window 18 and interlocked with locking and unlocking operations are provided. An inner slider 75 capable of being straightly moved by interlocking with rotational displacement of an inside lever handle 15 and an inner cam 82 capable of being rotated by interlocking with the slider 75 are provided to the inside of a door. An outer cam movable together with the inner cam 82 and an outer slider capable of being straightly moved by interlocking with the cam are provided to the outside of the door. The indicating sections 26 and 27 are provided to the outer slider. Locking and unlocking can be made through the operation of the inside lever handle 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
