PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid receiving frame for a yard catch basin, which has adequate strength against a vehicle load, etc., can be inexpensively manufactured, and has good handleability. SOLUTION: An upper end side part 3 of the lid receiving frame 1 for the yard catch basin is composed of a pair of opposed short-side side wall parts 13 and 15 and a pair of opposed long-side side wall parts 17 and 19. Swelling parts 35, which are provided on outer surfaces of the wall parts 13 and 15 and those of the wall parts 17 and 19, are preformed so as to outward swell gradually greatly upward. Such a constitution can ensure the adequate strength against the vehicle load, etc., and can reduce an increase in weight, for example, even if ductile cast iron FCD400 is used as a material.
