A manufacturing method of a wig and the wig manufactured thereby are provided to prevent hair from moving along the outer periphery of a yarn by twisting the yarn and connecting the twisted yarn and the hair, and to have excellent ventilation since a separate cover is not required. The manufacturing method of a wig comprises the steps of: fixing one side of a yarn(10) and forming a ring(11) by twisting the yarn; putting a free end(12) that is the other side of the yarn into the ring; forming a stitch(13) by drawing out the yarn put in the ring to the other side; putting a hair(20) in the stitch of the yarn; and binding the hair solidly by a stitch ring(40) by pulling the free end of the yarn.
