The gun (1) has a removable trigger assembly (6) inside a housing (2) made from a polymer or composition material with a polymer matrix. The assembly is in two sections - the first (8) contained inside the housing, and the second (10, 11) accessible from the outside once fitted. The catch (17) for releasing the trigger assembly so it can be replaced is located beneath a movable slider (4) carrying the breech block (7).
