PURPOSE: A method is provided to prevent an environmental contamination caused due to the disposal of the waste ferric oxide catalyst, while reducing manufacturing costs. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of crushing a waste ferric oxide catalyst through the use of an iron ball mill; melting K2O, CaO and Mgo from the waste catalyst by adding an acidic solution of pH1 to 3 to the crushed waste catalyst and stirring the resultant material for 30 to 60 minutes, and removing moisture; adding a nickel oxide and zinc oxide powder to the waste catalyst in such a manner that NixZn1-xFe2O4(wherein x=0.2 to 1.0), and wet mixing the resultant material for 4 hours through the use of an alumina ball mill; synthesizing a nickel zinc ferrite by calcining the mixed powder for 1 to 4 hours at the temperature of 800 to 1150 Deg.C, and re-crushing the calcined powder through the use of an alumina ball mill; and pressing the calcined nickel zinc ferrite powder at the pressure of 500 to 1000kg/cm¬2 through the use of a round mold, and sintering the shaped specimen for 1 to 5 hours at the temperature of 1200 to 1250 Deg.C under an air atmosphere through the use of an electric furnace.
