The required amount of dog food is prepared at home and filled into the bag-shaped travelling bowl which can be closed with a string (3) guided around its upper edge. When the dog has been fed at some stage of the journey the watertight bowl can be filled with water allowing the pet to drink as well. The empty device can again be closed with the tightened string (3), keeping the soiled inner surface safely separated from the surrounding objects.
