Valve drive comprises two camshafts and two intermeshing gearwheels (10, 11) rotationally fixed to the camshafts and having an even number of teeth. The gearwheels have a first marking (12) arranged in the region of a tooth and a second marking (15) arranged in the region of a gap between two teeth. At least one gearwheel has a positioning aid (16). The second marking is arranged in the peripheral direction a half tooth width from the position lying diametrically opposite the first marking. In the assembly/positioning position specified by the positioning aid all markings are positioned a quarter of the tooth width (offset (20)) from the connecting line (19) of the centers (17, 18) of the gearwheels.
