It is intended to provide a surface showing extremely lessened adsorption of proteins (for example, BSA) which can be obtained by repeatedly bringing a biosensor surface into contact with a polymer solution comprising as the main component a poly(ethylene oxide) having binding sites to the sensor surface thereby allowing the binding of the polymer to the surface.
