The invention relates to a roller blind device for a window, which roller blind device comprises a first (5) and a second roller blind rod (6) for the winding and unwinding of roller blind screen (3, 4). A first screen (3) having a first property is assigned to the first roller blind rod (5) and a second screen (4) having a second property is assigned to the second roller blind rod (6), and the first (3) and the second (4) screen are interconnected so that one of the screens (3, 4) can be wound on its rod (5, 6) while the other screen (3, 4) is unwound from its rod (5, 6). The second roller blind rod (6) is arranged to be able to move downwards from an upper start position, at the unwinding of screen from the first roller blind rod (5), together with the thus unwound screen (3), essentially without any feeding-out of screen from the roll of the second roller blind rod (6).
