Alternative designs, material and manufacturing methods for medical retrieval devices. Some embodiments pertain to a medical retrieval device including a cage (18) having internal migration barriers (34) therein. Some embodiments pertain to a medical retrieval device including a cage having variable diameters along the length thereof. Several alternative medical retrieval devices constructions and/or designs including methods and techniques of construction are also disclosed. |
