<p>A rope climbing simulator consisting of a continuous rope (31) which is kept taut, by means of a stretcher (35), between pulleys (34, 41, 83, 84), which are mounted on a trapezoid-shaped supporting console (30). The rope climbing simulator comprising also a rectangular mount (20) and a brake (82) which offers an adjustable resistance to the passage of the rope between the pulleys (34, 41, 83, 84), thereby enabling a climber either to elevate himself from the floor or to exercise with the feet on the floor. The height of the trapezoid-shaped supporting console (30) can be adjusted by means of hinges (32), the trapezoid-shaped supporting console (30) can also be folded in order to ease the transport. On the trapezoid-shaped supporting console (30) there can be an electronic device (55) for measuring the length of climbed robe and the expended energy.</p> |
