<p>The method for producing mechanical energy by means of the inventive turbine consists in transferring a working medium to the channels of a rotor and accelerating said working medium when it flows therefrom in one direction along a circle which is perpendicular with respect to the radius of the rotor, thereby rotating said rotor. The working medium is supplied from the channels of the rotor to a space formed around it by a shell and interacts by friction with said shell, which forms a closed space and is embodied along the radius of a circle along the output holes of the channels of the rotor. Said working medium flows out through the holes of the shell and is accelerated in one direction along a circle which is perpendicular with respect to the radius of the shell and opposite to the direction of the rotor. The inventive turbine comprises Segner's wheel embodied in the form of a tube (1) and arranged in such a way that it is rotatable. At least one pair of pipes (3) whose ends (4) are bent in opposite directions is radially fixed to said tube (1) on the opposite sides therefor. A cylindrical drum (5) is axially fixed to a rotatable shaft and encompasses Segner's wheel. The cylindrical belt of said drum (5) is adjacent with a clearance to the bent ends (4) and provided with at least one pair of pipes (8) which is radially fixed thereto and has the open oppositely bent ends (9). The pipes (3) and (8) of Segner's wheel and of the drum (5) respectively can be embodied in a streamlined shape, for example as a foil.</p> |
