<p>The letter box (1) with an input signal device contains at least one sensor activatable by mail in the box and connected with a radio signal transmitter (8), so that on activation of the sensor a radio signal is transmitted. The sensor is activatable by the movable base (4) of the letter box. The base is positioned by at least one spring (5,5a) in a rest position, in which the sensor is not activated by the base. The sensor incorporates at least one switch contact (6,7), which is operable by the movable base on mail input. In the letter box the radio signal transmitter and exchangeable batteries are arranged, which provide the transmitter and sensor with current. A radio signal receiver (10) is positionable remotely from the signal transmitter with an output side acoustic indicator (12). The receiver is so matched to the transmitter that the indicator reports audibly ''post input'' when the transmitter emits a radio signal.</p> |
