The invention relates to an oil filter system for cleaning or cleaning and drying the oil in a step switching mechanism in a power transformer or a plunger core coil. A measuring device for detecting the volume flow of the through-flowing oil is arranged in the oil circuit in the line leading to th e oil filter system.
