The outer peripheral region (12) of the curtain rod (4, 4) is fixed to the central region of this rod. The tensile part (5, 6) extends through the central part of the rod in the length direction of the latter. The tensile part has at least a section of its length which is eccentric relative to the outer periphery of the curtain rod. The tensile stress in the tensile part is transmitted as pressure to the curtain rod faces (12).
