<p>A cleaning device (10) including a handle (14) and a pan (12) is provided. The pan has a smooth, continuous inner surface which facilitates cleaning. A ramp portion (30) of a base (18) of the pan has a transitional angle of inclination which facilitates pulling waste into the pan. Spacers (44) and supports (46) are provided to ensure that the front ramp remains in contact with a surface (48) when a downward force is applied to the pan (12). A method is also provided which, using the aforementioned cleaning device (10), reduces the time necessary to remove a hazard on a surface (48).</p> |
